OUR PEOPLE
A church is only as successful as the people who energize it, and we point with pride to our council members. These are the people who make worship services rewarding and enjoyable for our close-knit congregation.

RENAE MEGGITTI
Pastor
I graduated from Fremont Ross High School. I have an Associate Degree in Accounting from Terra Community College and a Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting from Tiffin University. I have a Masters’ Degree of Divinity from the Methodist Theological Seminary in Delaware, Ohio. At the present time, I am a widow with one son – who is an Eagle Scout and served in the Marines and presently works for the government.
I worked for several different companies from 3 different companies from 1971 to 2003 – the longest being 23 ½ years. While still employed full time in accounting, I began ministry for two small churches from 1998-2003. In 2003 my full-time job was downsized and I began full-time ministry in July 2003. I have served: Scioto/Harmony, North Robinson/Leesville, North Lima, and now Kinsman United Methodist Churches.
While my son was in scouting, I served as treasurer for Troop #319, and on the Erie Shores Council of the Protestant Committee. During that time, I received the District Award of Merit and the Silver Beaver Award. I taught many scouts in the God and Country Program.
I am a member of the Kinsman Rotary and serve as Vice President. At the present time, I am also the treasurer for Kinsman Salvation Army. I have served on several different district and conference committees in the past. My journey as a pastor has offered me many opportunities to meet all kinds of people through the years. The feeling I got when I came to Kinsman UMC is that I have “come home”. These folks are open, honest, loving, caring, and sincere. They truly open their hearts to visitors. I am blessed to serve here.
